In a Nutshell

The case concerns an appeal in civil law matters against an arbitral award rendered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The CAS award confirmed a suspension that had been imposed against a wrestler, based on an anti-doping rule violation (adverse analytical finding for letrozole). The wrestler subsequently challenged this CAS award before the Swiss Federal Tribunal (SFT), alleging, in particular, that the concept of strict liability in doping matters is contrary to public policy.
