In the last few years, Russian football clubs have spent a lot of money paying a compensation for early termination to players and coaches. While Russia was in a good economic situation, government-owned companies and private businesses invested a lot of money into sports, but a quality of a management leaves much to be desired in most Russian football clubs. As a result, the clubs have hired a lot of players and coaches with contracts worth millions of Euros with many of them later being sacked without just cause.
