The case was a claim for breach of Article 17 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP) filed by Boca Juniors against FC Barcelona and the player Ramos Mingo.
The player joined Boca Juniors at the age of 13 and, one year later, he was admitted into Boca’s Housing Complex. To that regard, the parents of the player signed two documents: an authorization for him to stay in the complex and for Boca’s staff to carry some administrative duties and representations and a rulebook governing his stay at the complex, that included rights and duties and also an assignment of the player’s image rights to Boca.
