On 21 December 2023, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) decided on three significant sports cases: the International Skating Union, the Royal Antwerp Football Club, and the prominent Superleague case. However, the resolution of these long-awaited rulings does not mean that sports will remain untouched by the CJEU in the near future. This article tries to summarize two critical cases that are still pending before the CJEU.
The two major cases that the CJEU will deal with are cases C-600/23 and C-650/22, which are explained below, together with their latest updates.
