Spanish Judges Grant Injunction for FIFA Football Agents Regulations in Spain
On 6 November 2023, the Commercial Court no. 3 of Madrid approved an injunction request made by a group of Spanish agents representatives regarding the applicability of the FIFA Football Agents Regulations (FFAR) by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), particularly regarding the cap on the agents' fees. Accordingly, the FFAR will not be applicable in the case of Spanish-licensed footballers unless the Court of Justice of the European Union approves rules in favor of FIFA.
