Nuno, as in-house counsel, you deal with the legal issues of FC Porto. What is your academic and professional background?
Despite having studied Economics and Mathematics throughout all my high school years, I applied to the Faculty of Law of the Universidade do Porto. Since I am very fond of my city and I believe in the prestige of public education, I decided to go to the state university of my own city. Even though at that time we were talking about the youngest public faculty of the Universidade do Porto.
Throughout the years, this faculty has grown a lot, mostly due to the quality of its teachers (who are mainly former students) and has now definitely found its place among the finest Portuguese faculties of law, becoming the one with the highest access grade. In fact, starting from February 2019, I will be one of the coordinators of a Football Law Course there which, besides important names from Portuguese sports law, will also...
