Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role as Dortmund’s football club head of China?

BVB has been active in Asia since 2014, having an office in Singapore. After the summer tours of the team in 2016 and 2017, the feedback from the Chinese fanbase was so overwhelming that we decided to open an office in Shanghai as well.

80 million Chinese know BVB. We have 5 million followers in Chinese social media and fan clubs all across the country.

Our office in China started with two employees in 2017; now in 2021, we are nine colleagues - taking care of several business units:
