 CJEU to Deliver Final Decision on Diarra Case on 4 October 2024


On 9 September 2024, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) announced that the final ruling on case C-650/22 (Lassana Diarra and FIFPRO v. FIFA and URBSFA) will be issued on 4 October 2024. This case is of utmost importance as it concerns the applicability and legality of various FIFA rules on the transfer system, specifically the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP).
