On 22 July 2019, the Ineos group notified the French Competition Authority (Authority) of its plan to take control of SASP Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice Côte d'Azur, which manages OGC Nice. By a decision of 21 August 2019, the Authority authorised the transaction without specific conditions.
