On 11 January 2024, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) launched the "First Drafting Phase" of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code & International Standards update process. Stakeholders’ feedback is expected and will be disclosed during this phase.
Starting in September 2023, WADA is starting the drafting phase to approve a number of relevant regulations in 2027, including that year’s edition of the World Anti-Doping Code. This article briefly summarizes the process that WADA will follow.
