UEFA Circular 33/2024: UEFA Authorisation Rules Governing International Club Competitions (Ed 2024)
On 21 June 2024, UEFA released Circular 33/2024, announcing the new UEFA Authorisation Rules for International Club Competitions. Accordingly, the updated rules include changes to the dispute resolution process before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), giving parties the option to choose the arbitration seat location and outlining the grounds for challenging CAS decisions in accordance with recent rulings issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).
