The Costa Rican FA Suspends a Club and its Representatives for 10 Years after a Case of Match-Fixing


On 19 March 2024, the Costa Rican Football Federation (FEDEFUT) announced that it had imposed a ten-year ban on former second-division side Puerto Golfito Fútbol Club (Puerto Golfito) and three individuals associated with the aforementioned club. The sanctions were imposed in the context of an anti-match-fixing operation.
