Super League: UEFA, European Football Clubs and Real Madrid Sign Peace


On 11 February 2026, UEFA, European Football Clubs (EFC), and the Spanish side of Real Madrid reached an agreement for the good of football, whose principles will help resolve legal disputes related to the Super League.

This announcement comes ahead of a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Brussels and the organization’s 50th Ordinary Congress to be held on 12 February 2026  in the European capital, and days after fellow Spanish giants FC Barcelona announced its formal withdrawal from the Super League project on 7 February 2026.
