The Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC) met on 18 February 2019 to discuss FIFA’s plans for new competitions, including a revamped Club World Cup and a new global Nations League.
It was announced in autumn 2018 that a FIFA task force had been created to explore the feasibility of two new competitions. This task force is set to publicise its proposals during the FIFA Council’s upcoming meeting, scheduled for 14 and 15 March 2019 in Miami, USA.
