On 24 May 2025, the Swiss Football Association (ASF/SFV) Delegates' Meeting, which comprises the three main Swiss football divisions, the Swiss Football League, Premier League and Amateur League, elected Peter Knäbel by acclamation as the association's new Prsident for an initial two-year term.
