After being trained by SC Internacional (Brazil), acting with success in its youth and professional teams, also playing for SC Corinthians, Olympique Lyonnais and Villarreal CF and for the Brazilian national team, the player Nilmar Honorato da Silva, in the beginning of 2014, was transferred from Al Rayyan to El Jaish SC, for around EUR 8 million, signing a two-year and a half contract.

However, on 23 July 2014, the club sent a letter to the player informing that his employment contract would be “effectively” terminated on 27 July 2014.
