Following the guidelines set forth in the FIFA Regulations on Working with Intermediaries (FIFA’s RWI), the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) will release in April 2015 a National RWI (CBF’s RWI) adopting the minimum standards and requirements foreseen in the FIFA’s RWI.
The CBF is currently developing a new add-on module to its national registration system that will process the registration of intermediaries and related documents. The CBF will have this system up and running soon, following the National RWI publication.
In this context, the competent CBF judicial bodies[1] will also have the opportunity to set a new benchmark in Brazil by applying the new RWI rules in cases under their jurisdiction in harmonization with Brazilian Law, which will encourage the promotion of best practices and the repression of...
