On 23 February 2024, CONMEBOL’s Disciplinary Committee issued a decision sanctioning Club Deportivo Aurora for breaching marketing regulations by improperly using the CONMEBOL Libertadores logo in unauthorized promotional material. The decision included a USD 50,000 fine and was communicated to the club without detailed reasoning.
