Latest UEFA CFCB Decisions (June-July 2025)


On 4 July 2025, the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (UEFA CFCB) First Chamber announed that it had imposed disciplinary measures against 12 clubs that breached the financial sustainability requirements set out by the relevant UEFA Regulations. These include giants such as Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, Olympique Lyonnais and FC Porto.

The latest decisions issued by the UEFA CFCB on 4 July 2025 are divided into four distinct categories:

  • Football Earnings Rules violations amounting to breaches of the break-even requirement;
  • Overspending on squad costs relative to income or Squad Costs violations;
  • Incomplete or late submission of financial information;
  • Decisions involving clubs already under settlement monitoring agreements for earlier breaches.
