What is football? Somebody from my network said to me the other day: “Football is, of all sports, a team sport in which an individual has to contribute to the greater goal of the team.”

In order to fix European football, we need to act as a team, too. This might sound obvious to some and completely disillusional to others.

The interests of all stakeholders need to be more aligned to some extent; instead, there are opposing and even fighting camps - within the same team! Ultimately, teams will fall apart or settle for less.
