From a general point of view, how do you apprehend the constant increase in groups holding stakes in several clubs around the world? In your opinion, is the MCO favourable to the football market? And to the players?
At this point in time, it is still rather complex to forge a clear point of view as there is very little and meaningful information available on the clear extent of this practice, especially in smaller markets and lower tiers, where we can observe that club acquisitions and equity stakes are now increasingly taking place. However, even for the famously known global groups, it is difficult for an outsider to fully understand their operations and business practices. There is sometimes also not a lot of transparency as to their legal structure, for example.
