FIFA Sanctions Two Clubs after Anti-Match-Fixing Disciplinary Proceedings


On 2 May 2025, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee imposed sanctions on two clubs for their involvement in activities related to match manipulation. More precisely, the disciplinary measures include point deductions, fines and extended bans from national and international competitions. These decisions follow investigations in collaboration with domestic football associations and integrity units.

In the case of two football clubs, following a comprehensive review of the relevant cases and in alignment with its zero-tolerance policy towards match manipulation, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee reached the following conclusions:
