On 21 September 2017, the Decree no. 268/017 of the Executive Power was published. It regulates the former Law no. 14.996 of 1980 and insists on the prohibition of the assignments of economic rights of sportspeople in favor of individuals or institutions without legal status acknowledged by the State.
