A quite important number of footballers competing in the First and Second Division of Uruguayan Football under the slogan “closer than ever”, informed against the Managing Board of the Uruguayan Association of Football Players at the Ministry of Culture and Education. In return, the aforementioned Managing Board filed a criminal complaint against these footballers.
It all began when at the end of year 2016, around 600 footballers competing in Uruguay gathered signatures in order to call a General Extraordinary Meeting of football players, members of the Association to demand the resignation of the Managing Board presided over by Enrique Saravia....
