On 24 July 2023, CAS announced that the newly published FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR) are legal, valid and proportionate in the context of an ordinary claim initiated by the Professional Football Agents Association (PROFAA). Accordingly, FIFA will be able to continue the implementation of the FFAR. Notwithstanding this, it should be noted that the Panel in charge of deciding this matter reiterated a number of times that FFAR should incorporate some additional explanations.
