On 21 December 2023, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed the appeals filed by player Jaka Čuber Potočnik and FC Köln against a decision issued by the Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) of the FIFA Football Tribunal. FIFA and CAS confirmed that the player breached his contract with his former club, NK Olimpija Ljubljana (Olimpija), without just cause during the protected period and induced by FC Köln.
