CAS Confirms Club's Exclusion from UEFA Competitions in Multi-Club Ownership Case
On 16 June 2025, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) dismissed an appeal filed by Drogheda United Football Club (DUFC) challenging UEFA’s decision to exclude the Irish club from the 2025-26 UEFA Europa Conference League. The decision stems from a breach of UEFA’s multi-club ownership (MCO) rules.
