In mid-April 2023, the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit published its latest disciplinary decisions, sanctioning a number of football stakeholders after three CONMEBOL-organized fixtures. The aforementioned decisions were taken on 4 April 2023 but published at a later date.
The CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit sanctioned three clubs participating in CONMEBOL-organized competitions. They were found guilty of breaching several CONMEBOL provisions during two Copa Libertadores games and a Copa Sudamericana match in March 2023. The resulting sanctions are explained in detail below.
