FIFA Regulatory Changes


On 10 September 2021, the world football’s governing body published Circular no. 1769, which details a series of regulatory changes affecting many of the dispute resolution structures of FIFA.  These changes include a new edition of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP) and the FIFA Procedural Rules Governing the Football Tribunal (Procedural Rules).

On 21 May 2021, during the 71st FIFA Congress, several amendments to the FIFA Statutes and the Regulations Governing the Application of the Statutes were approved, including the establishment of the FIFA Football Tribunal.
