FIFA and UNODC Wrap Up Successful Global Integrity Program

On 3 August 2022, FIFA announced the conclusion of its first Global Integrity Program, which it developed together with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). As part of FIFA’s global initiative to terminate match-fixing, the program helped football stakeholders to gather valuable knowledge to improve the protection of their competitions.

The FIFA Global Integrity Program was a comprehensive initiative with an international scope that provided all 211 FIFA member federations with state-of-the-art knowledge and tools concerning anti-match-fixing, good governance, compliance and educational practices while reflecting UNODC’s purpose of supporting sports organizations to tackle match manipulation schemes.
