On 22 July 2024, the Special Electoral General Assembly of the Hellenic Football Federation (HFF) elected Mr. Chrysostomos Gagatsis as its new President, becoming the youngest-ever HFF chairperson.
Mr. Chrysostomos Gagatsis was elected as the new chair of the HFF Executive Committee, a rank analog to that of the president of other football associations, securing 61 votes out of 70 voters
